You are invited to submit an abstract for presentation at IPWG7. Based on the number of submissions, the program committee will organize a series of oral and poster sessions.
Abstracts that deal with current operational and research precipitation estimation techniques, applications to climate and weather, data assimilation, validation, sensor calibration, and future satellite missions are encouraged. The abstract should be in English, approximately one half of an A4 page and provided in electronic form the IPWG web site below.

The deadline for the receipt of the abstracts and registration is 14 July 2014. Abstracts and Registration forms can be submitted by email to the co-chairs Kazumasa Aonashi and Nai-Yu Wang. There is no abstract fee required. An abstract brochure will be prepared in advance of the meeting.
Electronic final proceedings will be prepared in the months following the meeting. You are invited to prepare an extended manuscript up to four pages in length for inclusion by 31 January 2015. Further information such as formats will be available at the workshop.
A limited amount of travel support will be provided by JAXA for young scientists and engineers from developing countries in Asia and Africa to participate in the training course of the workshop. Outline of training courses and application form are available from the IPWG web site below.
