This website provides precipitation forecasts five days in advance using hourly-updated Global Satellite Mapping of Precipitation Near-Real-Time product (GSMaP_NRT) provided by JAXA. RIKEN acquired the weather forecasting license (License #204) from the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) for the area surrounding Japan defined by 0-60oN and 100-180oE.
Areas on the map shaded in gray indicate out-of-service locations.
