Fires burning continuously in the river basin of the Amur River in China since March generate smoke, and the smoke flew over the sea and spread out over the Pacific Ocean.

This image shows northeastern China, including the river basin of Amur River where fires have been burning. The image was observed by GLI on April 2, 2003 (same day as above).
